It is with mixed emotions that we announce a new direction for The Jim & Karrie Band. As many of you know, Jim has embarked on a solo endeavor and is now supporting himself as a full-time musician. His solo gig has quickly taken off with great success. While this is good news for Jim, his available dates to play with the band have become fewer, complicated by the fact that many of our regular clubs have closed and local venues where bands can play and people can dance are pretty much non-existant. So we have decided that what works out best for everyone is for Jim to focus on his solo project, and for us to try to find someone to continue on with the band. We will miss Jim very much, but he can be found playing in local establishments every week. Please stop by and support him. His website is hitsbyjimmied.com.

Since Jim left big shoes to fill, we have actually found TWO guys to take his place! Please welcome our new guitarist and singer, Pete, and our part-time vocalist, Chris. Pete and Chris bring new energy to our show and are dedicated to providing you with quality entertainment that you've come to expect. The new band will be performing at the upcoming events on our schedule.

NEW NAME! Pete's former band was known as "Rockfish", and in keeping with the Jim & Karrie name, we felt a fitting name for the new band shall be "KARRIE & THE ROCKFISH".

We hope to see you at the 4th of July Fireworks in Rye! There will be games so bring the kids, chairs, blankets and a picnic. (no sparklers, please).
